11 – Themes
It’s a week of themes – Enjoy!
“When You Come to a Fork in the Road, Take It!” – Yogi Berra
I’ve been at a fork for a few days now…wondering about the different vehicles that will take me down one path. And the other way, guaranteed consistent linear income. I feel that I might have talked myself down the “both/and” path of linear income and doing the actions I need to do contained in my Definite Major Purpose (see Week 3).
I’ve been listening to a lot of Abraham Hicks on the subject of choosing a job, and basically it boils down to “You can’t do it wrong. You can’t do anything wrong. Stop worrying so much about making the right decision because YOU CAN’T DO IT WRONG!”
Phew! It’s nice to know the “red pen” can’t touch me! I can’t do it wrong!
UPDATE: And then I see this the day after I posted my blog.
Guess the fork in the road was a back-up plan. As of Dec 13, 2015, I’m burning the ships & the back-up plan.
Abundance has shown up in my life again! I am so abundant! Say it with me now! I AM SO ABUNDAAAAANT!!!! Thank you Thank You Thank You!
- I won tickets to Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience – Jason is the son of John Bonham (the Led Zeppelin drummer). IT WAS AMAZING! Great seats and got to bring a friend.
- Upon leaving the show, I received 2 more tickets to another Led Zeppelin cover band act for later in the month. My husband will be so happy (especially since he was out of town for the first one).
- My friend bought me a beer!
- We passed the $10 event parking lot and got street parking for 25 cents!
Restarting was a theme driven home by the Master Key Team this week. We all might fall off the wagon here and there, but it’s what happens after we do that counts. I’m restarting after getting thrown around a bit and losing my footing (sounds like me on the stand up paddle board from Week 10). When I was learning how to surf, I felt that the proverb “Fall Down Seven Times, Stand Up Eight,” must have been written for surfing. And so it is with anything I am passionate about. If I fall, l get up!
No One Makes it Without a Mastermind
This Sunday, my Fantastic Four Mastermind group had a Skype call before our 3 hour long Master Key Call. Everyone is fabulous and we even touch base throughout the week on WhatsApp! I’ve even had 1 hour long conversations with 2 of them this week (what would you expect when you put a Yellow with a Yellow). Don mentioned me in his vlog this week and came up with a pretty cool strategy to conquer the Mental Diet – check it out here. And if you want to find out more about the colors and what your color is, go here.
This week’s reading ends with “remember that Faith is not a shadow, but a substance, ‘the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Which made me think of this short video from Bob Proctor.
To the Invisible – To Faith!
